Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the infallible inspired Word of God divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit and our source for truth.

(2 Timothy 3:16)

We believe there is one true, eternal God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Creator of the heavens and the earth.

(Isaiah 44:6)

(1 Corinthians 8:6)

(Revelation 4:8)

(Matthew 22:32)

(Exodus 3:6)

We believe God is revealed in three persons as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

(Matthew 28:19)

(2 Corinthians 13:14)

(1 Peter 1:2)

We believe God created mankind—male and female in His own image. Man enjoyed a personal and close fellowship with God. However, their disobedience to God’s ways resulted in loss of intimate relationship with God and they were put out of the garden.

(Genesis 2-3)

We believe sin is defined as the breaking of God’s laws and commandments or disobeying His instructions.

(1John 3:4)

We believe mankind tried to cover themselves but they could not hide. God’s plan began to be revealed as God provided the first sacrifice and clothed them in animal skins.

(Genesis 3)

We believe Jesus, Yeshua (Hebrew name for Jesus meaning “Yahweh (the Lord) is Salvation), is the Messiah, the Son of God, who was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life. He performed miracles and fulfilled the prophecies of the Old Testament.

(Luke 1-2)

We believe Jesus died for the remission (cancellation of our debt and penalty) of our sins and was resurrected on the third day. After 40 days, He ascended into heaven.

(Luke 24:6-7)

(Matthew 28:5-6)

(1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

We believe all have sinned and must be born again in Christ.

(John 3:3)

(Romans 3:23)

We believe the consequences of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of our lives.

(Romans 6:23)

We believe all must confess and repent of their sins to receive forgiveness and eternal life.

(Romans 10:9-10)

(1 John 1:9)

We believe once a person has been born again, he/she is restored to an intimate relationship with God.

(Romans 5:1)

(Ephesians 2:13-17)

(Romans 14:17)

We believe once a person has been forgiven of his/her sins (born again in Christ Jesus), he/she should follow in the first step of obedience and be water baptized. Water baptism represents your personal decision to die to yourself and buried with Him to be raised up to walk in His ways and teaching.

(Romans 6:4-12)

We believe when a person is born again, he/she immediately receives the Holy Spirit as a Helper to be obedient to God’s commandments and His teachings. The Holy Spirit is the third member of the Godhead (referred to often as the Trinity) with God the Father and God the Son. He dwells in each believer and will walk with (alongside) of them teaching and reminding them of God’s truths.

(John 14:15-26)

We believe your life will reflect this commitment to Jesus as Lord through exhibiting the fruits of the Spirit and seeking to live a life of exemplifying His holiness.

(1 Peter 1:16)

We believe in the promise of the Father, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, gifts Jesus desires for all believers that they might walk in power as His witnesses and ministering in His spiritual ways.

(Acts 1-2)

(1 Corinthians 12-14)

We believe Jesus Christ will return to rule and reign on earth as King of kings and Lord of lords for a thousand years. Then the dead will be judged at the great white throne judgment and all whose names are not written in the Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire. The righteous will live eternally in Heaven, God’s kingdom.

(Matthew 7:21-23)

(Matthew 25:31-46)

(John 14:1-6)

(Revelation 20)

Not unto us, O Lord,

Not unto us,

But to Your name give glory,

Because of Your mercy,

Because of Your truth.

Psalm 115:1
